Manasija Monastery is a medieval Serbian monastery, located near the town of Despotovac, in central Serbia. It was built between 1406 and 1418 during the reign of the despot Stefan Lazarevic. The monastery was built in the Gothic style, which makes it unique in the Serbian art of that period. The magnificent facade of the monastery is white, and the walls and vaults are decorated with figural and ornamental motifs, which intertwine into beautiful decorations. The main church, dedicated to St. Trinity, is decorated with frescoes and mosaics that represent a multitude of motifs from the Old and New Testaments. There is an impressive iconostasis in the southern part of the church.
